Lifestyle medicine focuses on providing the necessary steps and support to help individuals create and maintain behavioural change around certain lifestyle issues that are harming their lives, such as smoking, stress, and poor nutrition.
Before re-training in clinical psychology, Rhonda spent 15 years working for a state health department where she worked in community-based health promotion and prevention. This work laid the foundation for her interest in lifestyle medicine which continues to influence her practice today, combining preventive health with clinical psychology.
